1973 KAWASAKI Z-1 900 MOTORCYCLE
We are offering an early numbers matching 1973 Kawasaki Z-1 900 rootbeer in colour. This iconic beauty has essentially been fully restored inside and out.
Original chrome and equipment/parts have been maintained where ever possible. Engine is all fresh standard bore (new sleeves & pistons make this possible and bang on spec). The crank shaft has been trued to within 0.0015" and is in perfect place. Shifting will be a joy as this transmission is flawless and we used a slightly heavier detent spring. All new cam chain and guides/idlers are in place as well as new ampco 45 valve guides.
The engine is finished in a very authentic looking and durable Dupont high satin black after media blast. The frame swing arm battery box and some small parts powder coated by the beset shop in the area. The body parts were done with the "tri-coat" process by "Show Time" in Kalamazo Michigan. Bearings tires cables and allride-abilityitems are new.
Required reproduction parts include exhaust system rims hand controls & seat. The only items not to be believed to be correct for 1973 bike are the guages.
Please note factory fuel petcock was installed afterpictures were taken.
This bike is beautiful and would shine as a rider or as a show piece.
Please examine all pictures well and PLEASE call MIKE @ (519) 268-8209 for any question regarding bike.
