2001 Kawasaki ZRX1200R Sport Bike - Low Miles

Up for auction is a very well preserved 2001 Kawasaki ZRX1200R naked sport bike with low miles. From what I have learned on online forums. the 2001 Charcoal/Grey/Blue paint scheme is one of the most popular versions of this model and it attracts lots of attention from folks where ever I go. I have owned this machine since 2003 and have taken meticulous care of this bike. It has never been outside in the weather. I have always kept it in a climate controlled garage. It has had regular seasonal maintenance and suffers no damage history. This bike is in perfect working order and needs nothing. Just turn the key and go. The Kawasaki ZRX1200R is definitely a high performance machine. If you are looking for your first bike. you probably should pass something like this by in favor of something a little more tame. At the time I purchased this bike. I had 25 years of riding experience on smaller motorcycles and still found it a bit challenging at times. It is definitely FAST and can be a little scary! Its race and competition inspired design places into a category of bikes that makes it is worthy of respect. I would not recommend it for commuting purposes and I never used in this way while I have owned it. I purchased this bike off of eBay back in 2003 and have never regretted owning this motorcycle. It has been a thrill to ride from the very first day and continues to do so today. I have decided to sell this bike and a few others since I have been riding less and less each year and can no longer justify the expense and effort of maintaining them as I get older. So. someone will get a great opportunity to take over ownership of a truly fine machine. The bike is in near factory-perfect shape. The only mods are the Zero-Gravity windshield and the Pro-Grips-- both added by the previous owner. The bike runs and drives like new. I had new tires put on at the end of last season. I have always used fuel stabilizer to insure clean carbs and will guarantee it will start and idle as it should. The clutch and transmission work perfectly. Engine is smooth as glass. Power is incredible! All electrical works perfectly. I have never had any issues with this motorcycle. I believe it to be one of the best built motorcycles that I have ever owned with an unparalleled level of quality from Kawasaki. This is simply some residue left over from the bead seal when they mounted the new tires. I haven't been to the car wash since and it easily wipes off. I did post another photo showing the rim after cleaning. No permanent damage to the paint. This should clarify any questions regarding the condition of the front trim.
