1969 Moto Guzzi v700

So. if you are looking for a one-of-a-kind vintage bike with great patina. you've found it. This Italian is a real head turner. wherever I go. I get thumbs up. photos taken and lots of questions. If you like unique. mechanical work-of-art. this might be the bike for you. My goal was to make this bike look older than it is. following the style of rat rods from the 50s & 60s. Lets talk "patina". The chrome and tins are not perfect. with pitting. some surface rust. and a few dents and scratches. just as I like it. The rims have been powder-coated red and are in great shape. Don't let the patina fool you though. I had her gone through last year by Mark at Moto Guzzi Classics in Signal Hill. He went through the bike and she runs well. He gave her a new battery (that is always on a trickle charger). tuned her and set idle. rebuilt the carbs and made sure the brakes work properly for a 46 year old bike. I've replaced or added many parts and topped it off with an original CA black plate. I've replaced the oil pan gasket and have new gaskets for the heads. since they seep a little bit. As you can see. she has a suicide shifter. And. its on the right side. so Italian. Hows that for unique! Pipes are wrapped and have chrome fishtails. The tank logo is from the original logo from 1921! So. if you're into Deus Ex Machina. Gentlemen Rides. and no being just another rider. come take a look.
