I farm for a living so am a fanatic about maintenance and I respect machinery. -The current generation GS Adventure (now water/air cooled) has gotten great reviews. Buying one equipped the this one is would cost over $26. 00. 00 -My 2011 Adventure. purchased new by me at Bob’s BMW. cost over $23. 00. 00 excluding tax. tags. etc. -This is an opportunity to buy a mechanically perfect bike. properly maintained. responsibly ridden. ready to ride cross county. for a fraction of what a new one would cost -To emphasize: This GS needs nothing until the next annual service in 2016 or sooner oil change if you are as maintenance prone as I am Equipment. Includes original box. literature. hardware. and mounting stalk for an automobile and auxiliary charge cord for automobile -Fog lights -Lojack -Zurich extended warranty. transferable. good through June 2018 -Deltran Junior Battery tender connector lead hard wired -BMW Heated apparel lead hard wired -P3 rear LED lights (visibility enhancement full time/ turning/ braking) -Skid Plate General Condition -Runs as it should. no issues -Handles as it should. no issues -Shallow dimple on right side case. lower right corner (Photo with the small dog in it) -Barely discernible scratch on right crash bar and slight scratchs on right plastic fairing (photo) -Both occurred the only time bike was dropped (by me) in a sandy wash in The Adirondacks after Hurricane Irene -Otherwise in excellent condition -Caveat: It needs a good washing; I live off a gravel/dirt road and have a gravel/dirt drive in to the farm and have not been able to give it a proper washing since having just had my right hip replaced. -Other Caveat: Top Case ended up underneath a swallow’s nest in my garage and there are residual drip marks (shown in photo) should buff out but I haven’t tried it. Apology -For photographing in the garage. My new hip wouldn’t let me move it outside.
