1972 Norton Commando 750 Roadster

I purchased this bike in 1973 in Phoenix, Z. It has been in my family ever since. I took it with me on several moves including to Denver, O, onolulu HI, ydney, U and back to Phoenix AZ. In 1987 I sold it to my twin brother and he transported it to Yakima WA. When he passed away returned to its starting place in Phoenix, Z. The engine was completely rebuilt in 1981 and has been refreshed since then.

Mechanically the bike is in very good condition with matching numbers. It has dual Mikuni carbs, oyer ignition, odtronics rectifier-regulator (replaces the Lucas zener diode and selenium rectifier) and Barnett clutch. The combat engine runs strong, tarts easily, dles smoothly and does not smoke. The bike has been re-wired with the ignition switch on the upper triple clamp. All lights are stock and everything works as it should (horn, urn signals, eadlight, rake lights, ndicator and instrument lights). New Battery.

Cosmetically the bike is very nice with new peashooter mufflers, traight no-dent fenders and non-scratched fiberglass tank (treated for methanol blend fuel) and side covers. Paint is bright, ith some chips and wear on the frame. It is fitted with low mileage Dunlop TT tires. The seat is stock with no tears or sign of wear other than a somewhat faded Norton script on the back (see pictures).

This bike has been in the care of the same enthusiasts since 1973. Current registration and ready to ride to local (or further) classic motorcycle gathering.

A large wooden box of spare parts, oth used and OEM comes with the bike. There is no inventory of the parts, ut includes cables, hains, lutches, alve covers, gnition pieces, rackets, olts, nstruments, ecals, tc.
