1975 Montesa 250 enduro

1975 Montesa 250 enduro.This bike is 90% restored.The motors cases were split .All new main bearings were installe, new clutch,new 1st over piston with a fresh bore,all new gaskets and seals.In addition to a mechanical rebuild a cosmetic restoration on the motor was also done.The engine side cover, cylinder, ead were bead blasted and painted.The center cases were cleaned and polished.There is a small imperfection by the counter shaft sprocket were the chain came off and took a small chip out of the aluminum.The motor has run maybe 10 minutes to test every thing and it passed with flying colors. The carb is a new non oem mikuni .I do have the stock amal as well.The carb to box boot is new.The air filter is new as well.Also the stock motoplat was rebuilt.The frame was also bead blasted and powder coated.It has new redwing shocks.The front forks are rebuilt.All the frames bearings and bushings were cleaned and greased.The bike has new reproduction montesa fenders.It has new Metzeler tires.It has all new controls and cables.It has new chain and sprockets.It also recieved new petcocks and fuel line.What is needed to be 100%?The seat has imperfections,There are flaws in the fuel tanks paint.There are dings in the oem down pipe.Parts of the wiring for the horns and lights are missing.Lastly the rims need cosmetic restoration.The bikes handle bars seem to be solid aluminum inter ams.They are straight but in my opinion should be changed to stock.This bike runs, hift, stops and looks good as is .Buy it to ride at vintage events or finish the restoration and put it away.Will help in shipping but it is the buyers responsibilty to pay and arrange for shipping.This is a 40 year old vintage dirt bike .Please look closley at the pics and ask questions.I have done my best to describe all I know about this motorcyle.
