1982 Suzuki RN125 Brad Lackey Replica Racer – Bike was originally built as a long-stroke 100cc to be raced in Marty Tripes 100 Revenge Series. Race only four times and refitted with a new stock 1980 RM 125 top-end. This bike will make the ultimate air-cooled 125 Vintage Racer. The bike was built by splicing together a 1980 RM125 (to get the air cooled motor) and a 1984 RM125 (to get the Full-Floater suspension). resulting in a small-bore replica of Brad Lackey’s 1982 World Championship winning RN500. This bike was professionally built and no expense was spared in getting factory race bike look and performance. Every part on the bike was individually selected to produce one-of-a-kind bike. All OEM hardware was stripped and re-cad plated. All rubber parts were replaced with NOS parts. All seals. o-rings and bearings were replaced in the motor with NOS parts. Frame was black powder-coated. Wheels were completely rebuilt. replacing bearings and seals with NOS parts and double-link brake was added to front wheel. Rear linkage components replaced with NOS part. All cables and controls were replaced with NOS parts. Suspension work was done by Noleen J6. consisting of a customer aluminum body rear shock with remote reservoir that is fully adjustable and 2000 KYB YZ125 forks with updated internals by Noleen. Fork clamps are billet-machined from Emig racing with Timken steering bearings and aluminum steering stem. Fuel tank is aluminum. custom fabricated by Karl Landus. replicating the factory RN look. Custom works pipe and motor work done by Dave Miller of Miller Mano and DMC fame. Graphics replicate the look of Brad’s 82 RN500. Over $10. 00 invested and too many details to list.
