Condition - For a fifteen year old bike, his baby shows how well it's been cared for. Paint chipping and scratches are minimal for 47,000 miles, he bike has been garaged, overed, r parked in shaded/sheltered area 99% of its life. I'm a picky guy and I'd rate the paint condition a 8/10 due to the fact that there are a several paint chips/scuffs and a few swirls on one saddlebag. Look over the pictures carefully and you'll see how nice it is.
Mechanically the bike is very sound, ynthetic oil changes every five thousand miles for the past 20,000 miles(recently changed at 45,500 miles), ecently replaced chain and sprockets, eafoam ran through tank several times a year, rakes replaced about five thousand miles ago, ear tire replaced at 43,500 miles, ecent cooling system flush, ow it's time for a new battery, rake and clutch fluid flush, nd carburetor synchronization/tuning. There is a "known to Trophy's" intermittent tachometer ground issue (no performance effects, ust sometimes it just takes a break and then turns back on). I would rate the mechanical condition an 8.5/10 because of the carburetors need tuning and it can be a hard starter when it's cold (should disappear after carburetor tuning).
All in all, his bike is in fantastic condition just shy of excellent. It has very low and well kept mileage. The paint is super glossy and fantastic for fifteen years old and the mechanics are just routine service items, inus the tachometer issue. The bike runs very strong once warmed up. It averages 30+ MPG city/freeway combined. If you're looking to get into a fun, gile, uick sport/touring bike that can go two up all day long and is in fantastic condition while not breaking the bank, hen look no further! This bike is a beauty and I get compliments and questions all the time about it.
I welcome any questions you have and would be happy to discuss this bike with you. Thanks for looking into this beauty and please ride safe.
