Thank you for looking in on my Auction.
What is up for auction is a Mid 1970's Vintage Triumph Race Motorcycle built for Flat Track Racing.
This bike is a Custom Built Trackmaster Frame with the Triumph 650 Race engine. This bike was built specific for the flat track dirt circuit and has somewhat celebrity status.
This Bike holds the still unbroken Ascot Park Raceway (Gardena, alifornia) 15 lap record set way back in October 1973. The bike and its rider John Genni were quite successful and a popular draw at Ascot Park back in the day. This bike and John appear in in a Motorcycle Book "Grand National, merica's Golden Age or Motorcycle Racing" by Joe Scalzo. See photos of pages from the book.
The bike is obviously being sold as Used, nd its in very good running condition. It is currently in the same condition as it was when it was retired from racing back in the 1970's. For over 35 years it has only been maintained by the original owner which happen to be the original designers/tuners. I have written documentation/providence from one of the original riders/team members on the authenticity of this bike. One of the pictures displayed is the written letter of the heritage of the bike(some personal details have been pixelated only for the eBay ad).
It I am not the owner but I am selling this bike for the owner as he has asked me to do so. I have been selling here on eBay over 15 years and have 100% positive feedback and stand behind everything stated as to the sale of this bike for the owner. The owner is a long time family friend and everything to my knowledge is true and correct. If you have any questions, o not hesitate to send me a message and I will answer your questions or get you in touch with the bike's owner to answer your questions.
Here is a great bonus:
The current owner (again, hich is one of the original Team Race Tuners) is willing to include his time in assisting the winning bidder with getting to know the bike. He will clue you in on all the quirks and tricks to how the race tuning can be managed and help you set it up to your liking.
The bike is located in Southern California in San Bernardino area. We will deliver locally in the San Berdo/Orange/Los Angeles/Riverside County areas. If you are anywhere in the So Cal area, e can probably work out something so that shipping companies can be avoided and we deliver it personally. Any other locations shipping must be paid by winning bidder unless arranged are made and agreed to by both parties.
Please feel free to ask any questions. I will get back to you as quickly as possible.
Payment information: PayPal for the initial deposit of $500 must be made after the auctions end. Please contact me for the arrangement of the rest of payment.
