Description

Hello, ou may not find a better example of a 1965 Triumph Bonneville, ere is your chance to own a brand new bike like it was 1965 to ride or to display in your collection. No expense was spared. Bike was built for display in the showroom and is currently sitting inside my house in the office.
Restored by world renowned Master Bike Builder Paul Ponkow of Bones Legacy. Paul has been featured in over 130 custom motorcycle magazines in the world and also had a full TV episode on Counting Cars on the History channel restoring The Big Twin from AEE choppers. Paul also has been invited back to back to the Master Builders Championship. Multi championof Ultimate builder in retro class, nd winner of 100 other bike shows for his attention to detail.
Bought from original owner who purchased in 1965 in California. This is a west coast styled Bonnie with the correct air filter andhandlebars. Motor was rebuilt by Riverside restorations. All cosmetic work and assembly by Bones legacy. All paint was done by Don Hutchinson so its correct. Frame is powder coated along with some other items or they been purchased as NOS. Original Dunlop rims front and rear, tainless spokes. the hardware was cadmium plated or NOS, ot zinc plated. Brand new Amals, ew tires, very single part has been replaced or restored. hundreds of hours went into thisrestoration with the correct parts to be plated, ainted and for year and country destination. Speedos restored by Nisinger. Amal throttle and grips. Blade clutch and brake levers. Champion plug leads. Lucas cloth wiring harness. I will add more later ifI'm missing something.
Bike has been converted to 12volt electronic ignition if you choose to ride. There is no fluids in the bike so the person purchasing will need to have what a dealer set up would do when purchased new. (add fluids, inal tuning of carbs and timing if needed.) Bike has been timed and carbs set to factory specs.
If you know Bonnevilles 1965 is one of the most desirable years. it was the last year for many items.
