Description

1967 Triumph T120R Bonneville for sale. Why pay the Buyer’s Premium at the Vegas auctions? This numbers matching Triumph is a dependable first or second kick starter, hether cold, arm, r hot, nd idles reliably. A sweet runner, he bike is always ready to take you where you want to go. The frame components and wheel hubs have been powder coated, nd the gas tank, il tank, nd left side cover were all painted by Craig McGlothlen of Precision Motorcycle Painting. At the time of painting the tank was sealed with POR15 and is clean inside. The engine has been rebuilt with new rod shells running on crankpins which measured in spec for standard shells. The head was rebuilt with new valves, uides, nd springs. All head threads are in excellent shape. Pistons are 30 over. The AMAL carburetors were adjusted by an old school Triumph mechanic at Job Cycle and ensures the engine runs correctly. Please note: the original mileage is unknown, ut there are 942 miles since the restoration was completed. Just enough to shake out the bugs and to provide some entertainment to the restorer. Too many bikes in the garage is causing me to send this one to auction.

Clutch plates were renewed and the clutch works as expected without any slip. The gearbox shifts sweetly and on the "right" side. Electronic ignition by Boyer-Bransden is fitted and simplifies maintenance by eliminating the points and condensers. A reproduction wiring harness with correct cloth for the year has been fitted and helps with the reliability of the bike. Original Dunlop rims are fitted and laced with stainless spokes to the hubs.

There are a couple of cosmetic issues shown in the photos but they are minor. This paint combination and shiny alloy make this bike a real head turner and elicits compliments wherever it goes. And there is nothing like the sound of a Triumph twin. I have set the reserve fairly close to the starting price. Good luck with your bid, nd winning it now will ensure you are ready to ride when spring arrives!
