1959 Triumph TR6 Trophy Pre Unit 650 Excellent

This is a matching number 1959 TR6 Trophy . I have put 2060 miles on it in the last 12 years. I bought it from a gentleman in Montgomery Alabama in 2001 and did a complete restoration on an original paint bike. I have owned scores of motorcycles over the last 50 years and must admit this has been my favorite bike ever. It started first kick back then and still does the same thing now
It has it's original tank fenders and almost everything . The front mudguard is al lu minium as they say in the UK.
No expense was spared in it's revival but that was several years ago and it has lost a bit of it's new luster, t could use a detail job and then still stand close inspection.
The .020 over motor has all new everything including valves, uide, nd springs. I bought a new monobloc and stamped it like the original one 376/40 i think.
Everything works and It runs very strong. It is 6volt with stock rb108 regulator. ohhh the horn was intermittent so i installed a small honda horn under the tank. The one on the bike is a dummy :)
I made the luggage rack from a Yamaha rd400 unit and will be happy to remove it if you don't like it.
The chronometric guages came from Oliver and work fantastic. All the lenses / switches etc are OE Lucas.
The paint was performed by Bob Myers of cycle colors = my favorite ! wish i could still get him !.
In my opinion this is an investment grade motorcycle. I can forward more pictures upon request ; ebay only allows 12.
