1976 Yamaha RD400 cafe project
Started project 1 yr. ago but decided to put on hold...
Took some pictures of freshly powdered coated frame with primer painted tank and fiberglass tail. It has the proper line with seat pan lining up with tank. I threw on tank and tail for pictures so you can get the feel of where I was going with it.When I purchased the bike the previous owner fired it up first kick no problem, m including a new gasket set and stainless steel complete engine bolt set as pictured.
Modified frame is still wrapped up from powder coating with eggshell semi gloss finish, ut off side plate tabs as I wanted to clean up center minus plate & oil tank. Welded battery mount under tank and seat rail to mount fiberglass seat pan as pictured.The tank is in great condition inside and out. It has a small dent 1/4 inch as pictured.Some items worth mentioning that are not included are; wheels, ear swing arm, andlebar among other small items I'm not recalling at this time.Everything that is pictured is what's included... so, lease look at pictures carefully. If you don't see it on the pictures it's NOT included..The Ca. Title is included and matches with engine as pictured.
I'm trying to sell as package so initially, won't be interested in selling engine or frame set up separately unless you want to offer me some crazy good price.
I'm not at all interested in shipping anything so. Two options for you, ick up in person in San Diego, a. Or hire someone to crate the whole thing at your expense. ( they come pick up all components) once it's been paid.
This Cafe project will be a sharp little bike once finished.
