Up for auction is a 1973 BMW 2002. This car is the more desirable tii model. This is an original, atching numbers car. The engine number matches the vin number. This car would make a perfect restoration project. For the most part, he 2002 is solid and complete. The overall structure of the car is solid and in very good condition. The tunnel is solid. The nose of the car was replaced at some point. It was replaced with a nose that has a snorkel. Even though it is incorrect, he work was done nicely. The exterior of the car is burgundy. The panels on the car are in good condition. They are solid. Some panels have a good amount of surface rust. Some of the panels do have some minor areas of through rust. Such as areas on the fenders, oors, nd wheel arches. The car is complete, xcept for a few minor things. All of the glass is in good condition. The trim is complete, xcept for a section on the hood. The engine and drive train are all original. The car did run and drive before it was left to sit. The car was stored in an open garage for a period of time. The interior of the car is mostly complete and in good condition. The dashboard does have a minor crack in it. The car currently has some mismatched BMW steel wheels on it.
