39 Ford Rumbleseat Convertible Restomod

This Ford is an older restoration that was purchased from the estate of a well respected California rodder and car builder. Unfortunately his family could not provide any history or information on the car or when it was built. The paint, nterior, rim and tires are still in very good condition. Minor blemishes on the paint and front bumper are pictured. The tan top has no rips and fits well, ut there are some interior grease stains that won't come out. Front suspension is Mustang II type and the rear is Ford 9" type. Power steering and brakes, emote control door release. Engine is a Buick turbo V6 and the transmission is a 200 R4. The engine casting number indicates a circa 1984 - 1985 Buick turbo V6. Those engines were very conservatively rated at 200 HP and were more than competitive with V8 powered muscle cars of the day. Issues: idle speed is high and erratic, o attention from a qualified mechanic will be advisable, he speedometer cable is broken, ower windows stop about 2 inches from the top. Fuel gauge, emp gauge lights, orn, tc all work properly. The car has some rattles but drives and stops well and is quite at home on the California freeways. I can be reached on 617-901-3457.
