1969 Ford Torino GT Fastback

I recently acquired this very original 1969 Ford Torino GT Fastback from the Widow of the original owner. The odometer reads 16,xxx. I do not know if the odometer has turned over. The Widow stated that the car came with the race pack trim package. The car was a former show car (*see photos of an older photo), nd was meticulously cared for! In fact, he widow informed me that her husband was preparing the car for a new paint job, hen he recently passed. The car is original, ith a couple exceptions (driver's door glass has been replaced, dditional gauges had been added, our small holes had been drilled in the trunk lid, he gas tank was replaced, nd the exhaust was changed to headers and dual exhaust (*see photos).
The original 351 engine was rebuilt about a year ago, nd runs great! The car is registered, nd has been driven weekly. The Holley carburator was also recently rebuilt.The interior is nearly perfect. There are no cracks or tears except for the following: there are two tears along seams on the bottom of the driver's seat (*see photos). Also, he door pulls show wear (*see photos). The carpet is original and free from tears, s is the headliner and rear seat.
This car could easily be brought back to "show condition." The body is straight, nd rust free. The trim pieces are included as well as a new power steering pump which was not installed. The radio antenae cord has been cut (*see photo).
Also included with the sale, re the original owner's manuals (I will try to photograph them and revise my listing next week).
All-in-all, his is a great original Torino! I have tried to accurately describe the car, ut I am not a Ford expert. I invite all prospective bidders to come inspect and drive this great car (by appointment ) before bidding. Vehicle is sold as-is and the deposit is not refundable.
