This car started its life in New Mexico and was converted to 4wheel drive in the early eighties when it had approximately 30k mi. The car is a rust free c code original 289 automatic which was converted to a top loader 4spd back in the eighties. It has had the passenger quarter panel replaced due to an accident many years ago. And yes, he car does look as nice in person as it does in the pictures and is super fun to drive. Everything on the car works as it should including the 4wd and I do not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. The only time I had an overheating issue was in a car cruise downtown when it was about 100 degrees out. Some things I would do to this car in the future would be a new clutch only because it chatters a bit but still very solid and install new carpet mainly because the car deserves it. The old carpet still looks OK though. Im only selling this car because I am in the middle of restoring a 65 fb and also a coupe project on top of that. If you don't like attention and people trying to pull you over to talk about the car or getting more thumbs up than you could possibly imagine than this car is probably not for you. This car has brand new BFG's on flawless chrome wheels. Just did new flow sound exhaust and yes it sounds great. The engine is original but runs out very well and has I believe to be an original cobra dual quad air cleaner with the single lower. It has the power steering from the Bronco as well and works very nicely. And of course I'd be happy to share the cool story behind this car with any interested buyers. Thank you and please bid with confidence on this one of a kind Fastback that will not disappoint.
