You are bidding on my 1986 Jeep CJ7 5 Speed Manual with Air Con, hich is showing just 42,372 miles.
I only purchased this car in April this year from an official Jeep dealer, d Voyles Jeep in Atlanta GA, nd I had it transported out to me in Seattle. I was looking for a long time for anoriginal, nmolested CJ7. I wanted the combination of it being as clean as isreasonably possible, ithout paying for one that had beenrebuilt from the ground up. When I found this one on the Jeep dealer forecourt, knew it was the one I wanted. The dealer showed me the Carfax report, hich I have here, nd although they can't guarantee themileage, hey believe it's correct.
So why am I selling it so soon? The reality is that I never use it. Since it got to me in early May, 've done around 200 miles in it. It just sits there in my garage gathering dust. It's way too good for that and needs to be used and appreciated by someone that will drive it regularly.
To find a Jeep in this condition is really rare, believe me, tried. It's rust free underneath and, part a couple of really really minor bits of surface rust, here isnothing bad at all. The paintwork has faded a little over the years and if I was going to keep it I'd have it resprayed. It would be a simple respray as the bodywork is virtually perfect. There are no dents, irtually no scratches and you definitelywouldn't think the body is nearly 30 years old. I've looked all over and underneath, here is no rust.
The engine is the 4.2 258 motor. It sits in my garage for 3-4 weeks without being stared and starts first time, very time. I had it serviced as soon as I bought it and there was nothing needing doing to it all. Ichanged the plugs, ilters and oil though anyway. That was 200 miles ago.
Thegearbox is the standard 5 speed manual box. It's perfect, othing else to say here.
The steering/suspension and brakes are all standard. Theshocks look to have been changed recently. It rides bumps just fine, nd there is nothing wrong with any of it.
The tires are all virtually new and in totally perfectcondition.
The interior isvirtually unmarked anywhere. It's definitely been looked after. I added some new mats to it recently. The air con is REALLYstrong, nd better than the air con in my Mercedes!
The seats are a burgundy leatherette. There are black seat covers with it, ut Ireally like the burgundy. You can do either of course. There is also the skimpy roof set with it too (in addition to the soft top that's on the car now).
Overall this really is in great condition. There is nothing to hide and ifyou need me to email you any other pics just get in touchand I will send you what you need.
Good luck with the bidding!!!
