Description

This auction is for a very solid Barn Find un-restored 1966 MG MGB. .......complete with Hardtop and Overdrive. This auction includes FREE delivery up to 200 miles of Birmingham, labama, after payment in full)

This is a very rare car!!! An original British Racing Green, b>Metal Dash, b>MGB with Factory Overdrive, b>WIRE WHEELS and Hardtop!!!
This is a very rare barn find. This car was fully restored back inthe90's. It had some very minor damage on the front fender over 15 years ago, which has now been repaired)...and it was parked. Has been offtheroad for MANY years instorage. The damage repair was started...but never completely finished. The fender was repaired, epainted andre-installed....but the previous owner neverfinishedaligningthe fender and windshield. Only needs some minor adjusting andtighteningthe windshield to be finished, nbsp;I have thefenderchrome that needs re-installed that will be included.
Finding a solid, rustfree METAL DASHMGB....with Factory Overdrive= WIRE WHEELS and aHardtopis very rare!!!
This car has been in the sunny South for it's entire life. It has been in storage for many years. As a result...it does not have the usual rot found on most older British cars. This car is very straight for a 50 year old car. Would make a GREAT platform for a restoration...or would make an easy driver quality summer fun car with very little attention. These little cars are getting pretty rare...especially in this original solid condition. This car looks GREAT from a few feet away....but minor imperfections can be seen under closer inspection, s expected with any 50 year old sports car. There is a minor dent on the hood and some minor scratches inthepaint. Very solid car with no signs of rust holes or bubbles on the body...ever. One of the straightest bodies I've seen on an un-restored MG. All panels align up well and the door gaps look good other than the fender that needs some final alignment.
The car was running and driving with no problems when parked...but has not been started or run for a couple of years now. Under the hood looks very original and in good condition.
The interior shows normal wear, s expected for a car of this age...but is in very good overall condition. Original black vinyl interior. The original metal dash has not been cut-up or molested.
This car had been instoragefor many years. I'm listing it for a friend who must sell it quickly and needs the cash...so his loss can be your gain.He is selling his entire collection of MGBs. (see my other auctions). These early MGBs with overdrive and hardtops have been bringing over $10K when restored. This one is being sold with NO RESERVE,
This car is being sold with NO RESERVE..so the final high bidder will own this great little car.

This is a PROJECT car. It has been instoragefor many years. It does not run at the moment...butshouldn't require much to put back in running condition. The paint and interior needs attention to be perfect.Again...not aconcursnew condition $10K car....but it is an honest solid platform for a great little car needing only minor attention.
