1982 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 RESTORED original classic!

This is a beautifully restored classic Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 in Toyota Medium Blue 857. The 1982 model year is one of the rarest years for the iconic FJ40 (only around 300 imported to the US). and this 857 blue is one of the harder colors to find in this model year (only offered 1981-1983). All numbers matching on the chasis. body and engine. A collector quality late model FJ40 in this condition is extremely rare. This particular cruiser underwent restoration by the previous owner approximately 3 years ago and has been pampered ever since. The photos show the perfect floors. new upholstery in both the front bucket seats and jump seats. and beautiful factory-correct (and data plate matching) 857 blue paint job. Originality all the way down to the OEM radio delete plate. the bottle jack kit. glove box accessory light. and more. The only thing NOT OEM is the very nice upgraded center console tufty box. Swapping this out for an original (though much less useful) OEM console is as simple as removing a few bolts and putting the new one in if you so choose. Additional included accessories include a bikini top and 857 blue tailgate for top-off driving. soft half-doors. and best of all the Toyota dealer-installed AC kit. These are very difficult to find. Has not been installed. but the entire kit will be included with the sale. Original Toyota 2F engine - 4. 2 Litre. 135hp @ 3600 rpm with 210 ft-lbs @ 1800 rpm. Original 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly. and 4WD works perfectly. Factory disc brakes work great as well. Manual steering is tight and responsive.
