1966 BSA A65 Hornet Scrambler. fully restored 2 owner survivor. Almost every part on the bike is original to the bike. painstakingly restored. NOS rare skid plate. Forks and steering rebuilt as well as the clutch. brakes by a BSA expert and tach by Niswongers. Seat is perfect. fenders show minor wear. all rubbers. seals. bushings. tires. cables are new. The engine and gearbox are in excellent condition due to the low mileage and absence of any type of harsh conditions or abuse through it's life. Resided in Rhode Island from 66 - 2013. New Mandrian Red. which was the original color for 1966. is show quality. All fasteners are either replated originals or NOS from Klempf's. Nothing overly polished to take away from the originality and patina. This bike handles like new. shifts and stops like new. and purrs like a kitten. The only thing needed to ride occasionally and enjoy it as a show piece is to seal the original gas tank. which is just starting to seep at the rear seam by one of the petcocks.
