Note: Updated description.
I added a pic of the title with fuzzed out numbers, lso the springer is from around 2006-07. (I just saw I listed it as 1997, nd that was wrong.)
I lowered the price to sell before I break my knee replacement. This 1948 pan chopper is very cool. Engine and trans rebuilt 16-17 years ago and only 2500 miles. Always stored in house.Clear Pa title in hand, ee Pic. Sold as is.Tune up last fall before putting away for the winter. The battery was new last fall and took a charge, o I had it out running around the area, ven with the old gas. I can text a link if you want to see me starting it last fall. I did drain the gas and fill with some fresh this summer and have had it running several times, ut I think the carb now has to be cleaned and probably needs new plugs as they're fouling. It's not perfect, ut it's old, ostalgic, nd cool. Cooler than the newer Roadking I got.The mileage is so low over 16 years because I've had three knee replacements and didn't ride it for several years. Many original HD parts mixed with some aftermarket.48 motor was rebuilt 2500 miles and 17 + years ago before I got it. Odometer shows 2230 because I replaced a bad speedo at 270 miles. Has Andrews J cam I had installed at around 1000 miles.I had the top end rebuilt, nd it has about 250 miles. That was done a couple years ago.It has a same vintage era trans that was an empty shell when I got it. It was completely built and updated with all new parts, ndrews close ratio gears, nd a one piece kicker. The springer is from around 2006-07 and HD, ith all new performance machine front brake set up last fall. I spent about five grand getting that front end together last year with many new parts added to complete it, s well as fresh paint on a factory HD fender. Bike has new cables, rag bars, nd 7" Paughco offset risers last fall. There is no horn, s I took it off, nd the high low beam switch is on the vintage headlight. Taillight is vintage glass as well. The 64 Duo Glide frame that's had some mods, here is bondo on the neck, ut my tech thinks it wasn't cut. Seat needs remounting, r replacing, s it's marring the fender and the bolts were coming out when I rode it. I did have a deluxe solo seat on it with the pogo and T-bar some years ago, ut I sold it.Belt drive inside the primary done 17 years ago when the trans was done.Any work I had done was done by a well respected Harley trained mechanic that left HD to run his own shop around 30 years ago. He's rebuilt five bikes for me over the years and knows his job.The bike needs a little tweaking to get running right. Lately I can start it and it will run at idle fine, ut when I am riding around the block, t's popping out the exhaust. I keep fooling with the points and I changed the condenser, ut I think it's from the gas I left the carb last winter. The carb is an old Andrews Flowmaster, hich is the same as a Screaming Eagle Sportster carb. Just want to be honest. I think the bike is completely road worthy and will be able to go on long runs with a little tuning. It's dusty from sitting, ut cleans up pretty nice. Good luck.
