Description

Up for sale is my 1979 Honda GL1000 Goldwing. I'm the 2nd owner and I am selling due to the fact I no longer have time to ride, ecause of my job and because I gought a ST1100, o it has been sitting for the past few months.
When I was riding it daily it ran good and didn't give me any problems, ut now due to it sitting for a few months, t needs a little work to get back on the road and run good again. . ..maybe carbs cleaning, une up. I don't know exactly. I'm not a mechanic
It starts on 1st try, nd drives but it is not in drivable condition for the road. It needs a little work to be perfect.
It has less than 20k miles. The 1st owner did not ride much and the bike sat for over 20+ years. And a friend of mines brought it from a yard sale and fixed it up to running and drivable condition.
Turn signals, rakes, orn work perfectly fine.
The Speedometer is about 13 mph off.
The mileage has stop turning, ut the trip meter works fine. Make a long story short. When I got the bike, he speedomater/mph wasn't working correctly. So I had the guages changed, ow the Mileage is not turning
There is a tear in the seat, ou can see in the pictures
I added the fairing, indshield, addlebags (no keys) and trunk (no key) holds 2 full face helmets. The KBB value is $2700 for a naked bike without all those things. There are some on Ebay that are listed for $4k and up. The bike still has value.
Buyer is responsible for shipping and Pick up. Ask any question you may have.
Title is clean and Tags good til Oct 2015

The problem that need to be fixed is, he motorcycle loses power when riding for periods of time and at highway speeds for about 5-10 minutes. It may need the fuel pump replaced and/or clean out. It may need carbs cleaning. Or according to some on Google who have the same problem, t be the fuel cap
