Description

1989 Honda CB400F CB1 for sale by owner. This is another bike out of my collection. I have owned this bike since 2007. I originally purchased it from a friend to use as a track bike, ode it once at Barber in 2008 or so and it sat it my garage until 2012. I decided to restore it and give it to my girlfriend in 2013. She thinks it is too big and too nice to ride so I am selling it. (I bought her a CBR250R).I completely disassembled this motorcycle and painted the frame, heels, ork lowers, ngine, odywork, tc. (not rattle can, roper catalyzed urethane epoxy). The bike has new tapered steering stem bearings and new wheel bearings. I replaced all hydraulic fluids. I checked the valves and they were perfect. I cleaned the carbs and used new OEM rebuild kits. I replaced the brake lines with stainless lines. New oil and oil filter. Lubed and adjusted chain.Bike has bar end mirrors and Kerker header. Other than that it is all stock (except the paint scheme). I replaced many fasteners when I was building the bike.Bike starts right up, uns and rides like it should. All lights work. I did remove the turn signals but kept all the wiring intact if you would like to put back on. Can also put them on for the buyer if they desire. I have the stock mirrors somewhere in a box, ut don't count on me finding them as I have too many motorcycles and too many parts. I cut off the rear passenger peg mounts before I painted the bike so it is important to note that you cannot ride a passenger on this bike unless you are creative. I do have another frame and engine, ome other misc parts for this model bike that I would be willing to sell too.Not much more I can say about this bike. It is really nice and is fun to ride. I have had probably a dozen of these over the years. Sounds like it is doing the business with the Kerker. These bikes have gear driven cams and spin to 14K. Bullet proof motors until you try to get 95 hp out of them (ask me how I know). The title says rebuilt because when I transferred it, lorida DMV hasseled me about odometer disclosures and VIN plate removedAny questions about this bike, lease feel free to ask. I am selling many other Hondas so check my other auctions.I am happy to help with shipping but arrangements are up to the buyer. I have used U-Ship many times and have gotten good prices and service from them.
