PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU’RE ABLE TO MEET WITH THIS REQUIREMENT BEFOREBIDDING, R MAKE SURE YOU CAN HAVE SOMEONE IN LINE WITH A VALID US PASSPORTWHO IS WILLING TO HELP YOU OUT ON THIS.
Todayit is very hard to source a very rare machine like this, specially in an original and not restored condition.
After WW2 there was in Europe a huge demand fortransport in an economical way, here this Poirier trike was a cross-breedbetween a motorcycle and a little two-seated (sports-)car.In France this type of vehicle was classified as a Voiturette or cycle-car, eaning very small motor-vehicle.
In total only a couple of thousand of these Poirier trikes have been built, his trike has serial # 1555 and the original builders id.-plate is still in place.
The original windscreen is still with it and will of course be send along with the trike (I've forgotten to picture this, ut can of course send you a picture of it when you want).
The vehicle has been takenout of regular use about 10 years ago, ut has been running acouple of times a year during this period.
The body is showing some light surface rust and a few dings and scratches, hich is to my idea perfectly acceptable after almost 60 years.
This trike comes with its French title which declares that it was first registered on March 5th 1956 and I will provide the buyer an official bill of sale from my company here in Belgium. Furthermore I’ll make sure that all the correct export-paperwork will be in place before the bike leaves from here, hich documents will make the process of importing it into the US an easy ride.
-On this listing I’moffering a special (fully sealed) motorcycle crate, areful packing and physical shipping from here in Belgium to a US CFS-depot as close as possible to you at my expense,meaning that I will pay for having the trike crated and all handling etc. at my end plus the ocean-freight charge, here you are responsible for all charges at your end, ike ISF filing, ntry fees, ort-handling, ventually broker fees etc.If you want any additional information about this, lease ask before you place a bid.Furthermore, hen you want to receive some better photo's of the trike/shipping, r want to recieve more information about this item, ust let me know.
I accept PayPal payments.-Additional information to this listing;
Like can be seen, he trike has after almost 60 yearsMANYtraces of use and age (patina).I only offer shipping by sea, here of course we can advise you on forehand about the process of importing the machine into your country. Like can be read in the link,this antique bikeis because of its age and displacement exempt from US import-duty and EPA regulations;https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/278/~/importing-classic-or-antique-vehicles-%2F-cars-for-personal-use
The crated vehicle will safely sail in a consolidated container and the shipment is fullyinsured for eventual damage/loss.
I always do the packing myself and will send you a good set of photo's of the process of packing and actual delivery at the Antwerp warehouse of the shipping-company as soon as everything's finished.
