Founded in 1886 in Nuremberg, ermany by Max Frankenburger and MaxOttenstein as a bicycle factory,Victoria built their first motorcycles 13 years later.
From therethey managed to alreadybreak the German speed-record in the year1926 with nearly 104 mphwith their supercharged 500cc flat-twin racingmotorcycle, hich record brought them instantly to the top-endofEuropean motorcycle-racing with havingmore than 12 excellent riders.
In 1956 the last motorcycle designed and produced by Victoria was the 175cc ohc KR17 model that had an engine which was supplied by the famous Italian motorcycle producer Parilla, here because of economical reasons Victoria traded many of their light Italian-styled Avanti machines in return to the Italians.
Soon afterwards motorcycle-manufacture stopped, sIn 1958 Victoria merged with DKWandExpress Werke AG, orming Zweirad Union, hich continued the Victoria name for mopeds such as the Vicky motor scooters. In 1966the German motorcycle-manufacturer Herculestook over Zweirad Union which made that the Victoria brand vanished.
This neat bike starts instantly, uns really well and the gearbox is shifting fine.
The paint is of high standard and both wheels have new spokes and nicely chromed rims (see images).
I have no idea whether the odometer-reading is representative, s there is no history to state this.
This machine has never been road-registered and comes with an official European certificate of origin which states the make, odel, ear, isplacement, eight etc. and an official bill of sale from my company here in Belgium. Furthermore I’ll make sure that all the correct export-paperwork will be in place before the bike leaves from here, hich documents will make the process of importing it into the US an easy ride.-On this listing I’moffering a special (fully sealed) motorcycle crate, areful packing and physical shipping from here in Belgium to a US CFS-depot as close as possible to you at my expense,meaning that I will pay for having the bike crated and all handling etc. at my end plus the ocean-freight charge, here you are responsible for all charges at your end, ike ISF filing, ntry fees, ort-handling, ventually broker fees etc.If you want any additional information about this, lease ask before you place a bid.
Furthermore, hen you want to receive some better photo's of the bike/shipping, r want to recieve more information about this item, ust let me know.
I accept PayPal payments.-Additional information to this listing;
