What does it need?:
1. The car needs the dsm link tuned.
2. Needs passenger side front CV axle (loud clicking, not broken or something). Replacement shouldn't cost you much more than a hundred bucks. Having someone else replace it shouldn't cost more than 200 bucks.
Why am I am selling this car?:
I need a truck big enough to tow the boat around and as cool as this is I don't have time for it, and I want the garage space. Basically, the story on this car is that the owners poured a TON of money, love, and time into it. Literally everything was done to the motor, by really good shops. I am sure there are more specifics, like the injector size, but this was just all I have figured out so far. They moved here, needed to move back home after losing their jobs, the car had a short(has been fixed), they didn't have time to deal with it and were broke, so they had to unload it to pay to move back home.
I am pretty much charging the price I got the car for, plus my time to go through all of the electrical to get it working well. The motor apparently was easily $7k, so you will be ahead on this pretty nicely. Whether you are a 1g fan or have a late model Eclipse or Evo roller that you want to swap the proven bulletproof 6bolt without the newer motor issues...like crankwalk for example, this is a GREAT opportunity. Priced less than just the parts alone for everything machined, built, assembled, wired, and ready to tune. The motor and trans was built to comfortably hit 600, and it shows. I have owned many very fast toys, and this is definitely one, also it is a DSM so it will last. No I don't have receipts, I don't have big plans for the car, I only did this as a bailout for someone from where my parents live that needed help. This is an amazing deal and it would be pretty much impossible to do better than $4500 for a motor like this in a complete car this clean.
IF you have the money give please feel free to get in contact with me. I will not entertain any viewing at all unless you have the funds available. Thanks for looking.
Will consider trades involving a truck.
