1982 BMW R65LS - In Storage For 25 Years!

Offered for sale is a 1982 BMW R65LS with an interesting sotory. This machine was purchased new in NJ in 1982, nd the first owner rode it until 1990, hen it was parked. It then sat for the next 25 years. It was purchased by a BMW collector in MD a few years later, nd he had it in his collection until a few years ago when I found it. I'm now looking at purchasing an R100CS, nd as always I am bike rich and cash poor, o I need to adjust my own small collection to make room,
The R65LS has always had a cult following, nd for good reason - they are a blast to ride! You can flick them around like you just can't do with a larger BMW. Owners of the early R80G/S models will know just what I'm talking about. In the last 5 years the prices on these bikes have more than doubled, ut here is your chance to get a nice bike at a decent price.
This is a matching engine & frame serial number bike, ith clear matching number title. The machine was drained of all fluids and the battery ages ago, nd has been sitting, nd has not been run in that time. Over the years from sitting the rings are stuck, o the new owner will have to replace them along with the other chores needed to get this bike back on the road.
