Peugeot Type D racer 1904!!!!

French Peugeot 330cc model 'D' of 1904. Originally this engine has a automatic (atmospheric) inlet valve. This was easy and cheap to make. but very inaccurate. As the piston goes down and the pressure makes it pulls the intake valve open and sucks his mixture inside. When the piston upwards again. this pushes the inlet valve closed. One could then buy a piece of construction in option. designed for racing. This building is a lot bigger side cover with extra cam. a push and a rocker to open the valve. a real OHV inlet. Of this race option there are only 2 known to exist. Furthermore. this motorcycle has the narrow Peugeot racing handlebar and the light-round race tank and reinforced racing fork. It is completely disassembled and ready to race by Marc Goes of "SOS motorcycle parts" in Mechelen (B). Starts and drives perfect. Last year this bike gone to Bonneville to race during Speed Week at the salt flats but this race was canceled due to flooding. Then this motorcycle is exhibited in Monterey/Pebble Beach at the event at The Quail and Concours d'LeMons where Jay Lenno was special long come to view these motorcycles.
